Randy Owens has served as our preaching minister since 2005. A Decatur, AL native, Randy married Celia Bray in 1986 while completing a Bible degree at Freed-Hardeman University. They have three children - Marcy, Emily and Jake. Celia’s heart is in teaching young children and is a kindergarten teacher at Columbia Academy. They have ministered in Tupelo, MS, Montgomery, AL, Decatur, AL and Cullman, AL. Randy has done short-term mission work in Guyana, India, Nicaragua and Honduras.
Barry England serves as our family minister. Barry provides marriage and family counseling, seminars, classes, and special emphasis days for churches desiring to give emphasis to marriage and the family. Barry is a graduate of Mars Hill Bible School in Florence, Alabama. He holds degrees from Freed-Hardeman University, University of South Alabama, and The University of Memphis. He is married to Tina, who assists with the ministry, and enjoys teaching second grade at Columbia Academy. They have two children – Carter and Haley. Barry has worked for churches in Mobile, AL, Dyer, TN, and Wildersville, TN. He was an administrator and faculty member for both Faulkner University and Freed-Hardeman University and served as president of Columbia Academy. He continues as a faculty member at Freed-Hardeman University.
Alex Quintero serves as our Hispanic minister. Alex has worked with Spanish speaking congregations throughout Central America and bilingual congregations in the United States. He has also worked as a translator and interpreter for mission trips and non-profit organizations with a presence in Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panama. Alex holds degrees from Commercial Science University of Nicaragua and Harding University. He is married to Katie, a native of Georgia, who assists with the Hispanic ministry. Katie has been actively involved with stateside and foreign missions. They have one daughter – Lenora.

Tucker Vincent, a middle TN native, joined our team in March of 2017. Tucker completed his degree in Bible and Youth & Family Ministry from Freed-Hardeman University in 2015. Following gradutation, Tucker went to work with the Kingwood Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, TN. He spent almost two years serving at Kingwood. Tucker has a passion for students, serving the community, and worship.
